Features and Information
Location: Approximately
26 miles northwest of Snyder, TX.
Acres: 2,500
acres more or less.
Terrain: The
ranch is rolling mesquite country to the north turning to scenic red
canyons toward the southern boundary. The property supports a good
variety of native grasses including buffalo grass, sideoats, plains
bristle grass, tabosa and switch grass. Larger trees such as hackberry
and Chinaberry are found in some of the creek bottoms while mesquite
is prevalent in the flats and cedar trees are found on the elevated
ridges.
Improvements: A
manufactured home is located on the ranch for the caretaker. There
is also a small trailer for hunters and one set of pens.
Water:
Water for the ranch is supplied by 4 earthen tanks.
Hunting/Recreation:The
ranch is ideal for the person looking for a variety of activities.
The sportsman can stay busy on the property hunting quail, turkey,
wild hog and deer while the fisherman can enjoy the tanks which are
stocked with bass and catfish. Hikers can explore the interesting
