Terrain: The ranch
has a variety of terrain from mesquite flats to rougher Caprock country. Sand
Creek runs through the southeastern corner of the property. Mesquite and cedar
are located throughout the ranch with willow and hackberry trees near the creeks
and tanks. Native grasses on the property include Buffalo Grass, Blue Grama, Side
Oats, Bluestem and Arizona Cottontop. The ranch has a perimeter fencing with no
cross fencing. The roads on the property are in good condition.
Water: The ranch is
watered by 7 earthen tanks. There is also one other tank that could be utilized
with a minimal amount of work to it.
Improvements:The rock
exterior home on the ranch has two bedrooms and one bath. The den features knotty
pine on the walls and ceiling and large picture windows. Although the home needs
updating, it holds great promise of being a vacation cabin anyone could be proud
of.
Recreational/Hunting: This
ranch provides outstanding hunting and fishing. An abundance of whitetail deer,
turkey and quail can b found on the property. Aoudad sheep can be seen climbing
on the rocky hills on the southwest corner of the ranch. And with seven tanks
duck hunting is an added extra. For the fisherman, the tanks are stocked with
bass. One of the larger tanks is even located within walking distance from the
house! The variety of terrain on the ranch provides great opportunities for adventures
on horseback or by foot. And the ranch is right in the middle of Indian country;
you might even find an arrowhead or two!
